If you have already found your monologue or know a play that you would like to read, do a search in the catalog. You can search our own library, or add in Summit to find the play at a nearby college and have it sent here.
Search tips:
We love our collection at CCC Library, but sometimes you may want something that isn't here! Don't worry, we may be able to get it for you.
In the catalog search box on the homepage, select "CCC Library + Summit" to start your search.
When you find an item that says "Check holdings", that means the book is not in our collection, but may be at another library. It is possible we do have the book but it is checked out but at another library.
You should see a notice with a link to make a "resource sharing request". Select that link to have the book sent to CCC Library. You may need to log in first.
After the item is requested, you will receive an email when the book is ready to be picked up. All books borrowed through Summit are checked out for six weeks.
If you like browsing the shelf best, you may find that this is difficult as there are many different places that plays may live.
I brought some into class, but we have far more!

Note - the plays are often mixed in with other literature!
Finally, you could try typing either "Plays" or "drama" into the catalog search box to see a selection of some of the plays we have. This is the least effective way to find a play, as it doesn't gather all of the plays.
