Getting stable permalinks

What are stable permalinks?

Permalinks are just that – permanent, unbreakable links to library database and catalog items. Permalinks are also called persistent links, permanent links, Title URLs, and URLs. Their locations in databases vary.

  1. Select the title of an item listed on your search results page.
  2. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page.
  3. Locate the URL listed in the text under the heading "Source Citation."
  4. Highlight, copy and paste the URL into your assignment.
