Faculty and staff services and resources

This guide gathers together resources to assist faculty in using CCC Library's tools, research tutorials, and services.

What are EFA Liaisons?

Each Educational Focus Area (EFA) has a dedicated librarian partner, fancifully called your EFA liaison librarian. Your liaison librarian is a familiar and consistent face and name for you and your students. Your liaison librarian:

  • Is your first point of contact if you have a question or request
  • Maintains all Subject Guides within your EFA
  • Proactively communicates relevant library services and resources to your EFA Point Person
  • Attends EFA meetings to both share information and listen and learn how CCC Library can better support you and your students
  • Assists with Program Accreditation

Because we are a small and mighty library, our librarian team still shares many responsibilities. You will work with the entire librarian staff on:

  • Library instruction
  • Research Help (in-person, online)
  • Collection development
