For your assignment, you will study issues of LIFE magazines until you discover a specific fact, belief, cultural attitude, or event about our past that you didn’t know. (One interesting facet about LIFE is that if you find an article in a certain issue, then you will find the letters to the editor about that article two issues later. Those letters can sometimes provide valuable information.)
