What are permalinks?

Permalinks are just that – permanent, unbreakable links to library database and catalog items. Permalinks are also called persistent links, permanent links, Title URLs, and URLs. Their locations in databases vary and most importantly - they are almost never the URL in your internet browser address bar.

Permanent links allow students, faculty, and staff to access CCC Library resources from both on and off campus. When off campus, the permanent link will prompt you to sign in using your myClackamas username and password.
