Some of the databases below (and Google) tell you about articles but ask you to buy access to the full text. Don't buy articles! CCC Library will get them for you for free through a service called Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Order articles from us using the Interlibrary Loan form below.

Below are databases (big containers of magazine, newspaper, and peer-reviewed articles) that contain criminal justice and law enforcement journals. Databases labeled "Best Bet" are specific to criminal justice and will be the most useful for you.

Databases that do not have that label contain journals on all topics, including criminal justice and law enforcement.

Access CCC Library's online article and eBook databases from off campus anytime, anywhere! Follow the instructions below to log in from off campus.

1. Go to CCC Library's homepage.
2. Select Articles, eBooks, and Databases under Research tools.
3. Select a database (e.g., Academic Search Complete).
4. Log in using your full myClackamas email address and password.
5. Select Submit.
6. Success! You will have immediate access the database you selected.
