Choosing a good research topic

Before you choose a topic to research, test it out and make sure it is a good topic to use!

Now that you've learned how to choose a good research topic, the next step is to develop a thesis.

Still looking for a topic?

As you've discussed, topics should be about issues and/or ideas, not about facts or "how to's."

Look at TED Talks (search “topic index”), Hidden Brain, Radiolab, The Takeaway, OPB’s Here and Now, Medium, etc. CCC Library has some controversial topic databases with browse features, too:
