What are Course Reserves?

CCC Library offers access to many required textbooks, recommended textbooks, workbooks, and other course materials through our Course Reserves collection. This collection is located on the Oregon City Campus, at the Circulation Services desk.

Check if CCC Library has a print copy of your textbook(s) by using the Course Reserves search box below. Come to CCC Library to check out the book for in-library use.

  • Library Reserve: Items in the Library Reserve collection are provided by CCC instructors and are available for varying loan periods. The loan period and due date/time will be communicated at time of checkout.
  • Reserve - Full Term Loans: CCC Library offers full-term loans for some course materials! This collection of textbooks is made possible by collaboration between CCC Library and CCC's Associated Student Government. Textbooks available for full-term checkout are located in the Dye Learning Center. Full-term loan items will always be due back to CCC Library by the last day of the current term.

Please note: the Course Reserves collection cannot loan out access codes for online content. The only way to access content that requires an access code is by purchasing the access code from the bookstore. If you need help paying for access codes or other textbooks, apply for an ASG Textbook Grant!

Not finding your textbook in Course Reserves? Email lise.stephens@clackamas.edu.

CCC faculty members are expected to "place one copy of all required and recommended texts on reserve in the library or the department office, consistent with Clackamas Community College copyright policies" (ISP170P). If your course texts are not on Course Reserve, ask your instructors to make them available in CCC Library.

How can I get my textbook?

Associated Student Government (ASG) offers Textbook Grant Money! (And other grants to help you pay for stuff!)
