How to Cast your Vote

Vote by mail

If you are registered to vote in Clackamas County, you will receive your ballot in the mail. Mail your voted ballot back or return it to your nearest official ballot drop site by 8 p.m. Election Day, November 5, 2024. No stamp needed! Eligible voters who have not received a ballot by October 24 should contact Clackamas County Elections for a replacement.

Good news! Clackamas County Elections Places New Official Ballot Drop Site at the Clackamas Community College Oregon City Campus

There are 25 official ballot drop sites in Clackamas County. Two are located in Oregon City. There is a drive-up ballot drop site at City Hall and at Clackamas County Elections office. All official ballot drop sites will be available until 8 p.m. on Election Day, November 5, 2024.

The Clackamas County Elections Office is a division of the Office of the County Clerk of Clackamas County. The Elections Office:

  • informs voters, candidates, political parties, cities, special districts, and others about administrative rules and statutes applicable to election laws
  • oversees election filing, forms, and voter registration
  • prepares ballots and voters' pamphlets
  • receives and processes returned ballots
  • completes election result tallies

Trust that your vote counts with simple, secure, mail ballot tracking! Know where your ballot is in the voting process —  from mailed to accepted.

As a Clackamas County voter, you can sign up to receive alerts via text, phone, or email. Know when your ballot is mailed to you. After you vote and return your ballot, be alerted when it has been accepted for counting. Your vote remains anonymous and confidential.
