    Offers academic journals and magazines on all things criminal justice, including criminology, criminal law and corrections, law enforcement, security, and terrorism.

    Full-text of newspaper, magazine, trade journal, and peer-reviewed journal articles, as well as eBooks, videos and podcasts. Subject coverage includes the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, and literature. It’s a great place to look for resources when you’re not sure where to start.

  • Academic Search Complete (EBSCO) Featured

    Magazine, trade journal, newspaper, and peer-reviewed journal articles on a wide range of subjects and is good for research on almost every topic. Most articles are available in full-text. It’s a great place to look for scholarly resources when you’re not sure where to start.

  • CQ Researcher (CQ Press)

    A great place to begin research on contemporary topics. Reports are written by journalists and fact checked. They include a topic overview and background, current situations, pro and con viewpoints, images, and timelines.

  • Diversity Studies (Gale)

    Full-text scholarly journal and magazine articles exploring global cultural differences and influences related to gender, ethnicity, and race.

  • Legal Collection (EBSCO)

    Centers on the discipline of law and legal topics, including law journals, documents, and case studies. Topic coverage includes criminal justice, ethics, federal law, international law, labor and human resource law, medical law, organized crime, the environment and more.

  • Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection (EBSCO)

    Topics include emotional and behavioral characteristics, psychiatry & psychology, mental processes, anthropology, and observational & experimental methods.

  • Vocational Search and Career Collection (EBSCO)

    Access hundreds of trade and industry-related periodicals; geared toward those pursuing vocational and career technical education.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar lets you cast a wide net into every discipline of research. Go ahead and use Google Scholar, but remember - never pay for an article online. Get it for free, through CCC Library's Interlibrary loan (ILL) service.

To request an article, first double-check that the article is not available from another database. The CCC Library Catalog is a good place to check!

Once you have determined it is not available at CCC, please fill out our Interlibrary Loan form (below) or contact ill@clackamas.edu. Articles will be emailed to you in 1-4 days.

What is Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) lets you request copies of articles and book chapters from other libraries. Use ILL to request books not available through Summit. ILL is free.
