Below are databases that contain Physical Education journals that can help in your Physical Education classes. Databases labeled "Best Bet" are specific to Physical Education and will be the most useful for you. Databases that do not have that label contain journals on all topics, including Physical Education.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) lets you request copies of articles and book chapters from other libraries. Use ILL to request books not available through Summit. ILL is free.
Google Scholar is a search engine that searches scholarly literature on the internet. Instead of searching across the Internet for websites and webpages like Google does, Google Scholar searches specifically for books or articles. Google Scholar searches a wide array of publications across many disciplines and subjects. Most of the results you will find in Google Scholar are scholarly articles.
The search box works in much the same way that the regular Google search works. Your search keywords can be similar to what you would search in Google.
A Google search engine that looks for scholarly material indexed online (books, articles, dissertations, technical reports). To get free full text, link your Google Scholar account to CCC Library.
Some physical education journals are available for free online, indicated with an OPEN ACCESS icon. Others require you to sign in with your Clackamas username and password.
