You'll work up to this big paper, and you're going to spend a lot of time with this topic and your articles, so you want good ones! This guide will help you succeed in this process. Use the steps below to:

  1. Understand college research and scholarly vs. popular sources.
  2. Choose an interesting topic.
  3. Go to the right tool to find sources on your topic.
  4. Up your searching game with some useful tips and tricks.
  5. Is your article CRAP? Make sure it's a credible article.
  6. Cite sources in MLA.
