CCC Library strives to be a welcoming space for all users.
- How can I reserve a group study room?
- CCC Library offers three group study rooms. Study rooms can be reserved up to two weeks in advance. Study rooms must be reserved in person, in the library, using the calendars on the study room doors. Reservations can be lost for the full session after ten minutes of tardiness from the requested start time.
- Is there a quiet space?
- CCC Library offers a dedicated Quiet Study Area in and around our print book collection. Two and four-seat study carrels surround the outer walls of the library. Additional pods of study carrels are located in the interior of the library. This whole area is designated as quiet study space. Talking on cell phones and using speakers (laptop, cell, or tablet) is prohibited.
If ambient noise is a problem, headphones are available to borrow at the Circulation Services desk. Single-use earplugs are available, too.
- Can I bring in food and drink?
- Yes! Food and drink are allowed anywhere in the library. Covered drinks and food (like sandwiches, granola bars, chips, fruit) are allowed around the computers, in the private study carrels, and in the study rooms. Try not to make a mess but if you do, please let a library staff member know so we can clean it up.
Library staff reserve the right at anytime to request the food and drink to be put away or disposed of in the trash.
- What technology equipment is available?
- Check out all the technology available at CCC Library: computers, chargers, printing, copying, calculators, and more. We have ADA desks and assistive technology available. We do not have a fax machine.
Dye Learning Center is also home to the Academic Computing Lab, which has additional hardware and software options.
