What is Inclusive Access?
Some CCC classes may use an "Inclusive Access" textbook model. This means that your instructor has chosen to add the cost of your course materials (like your textbook) to the amount you are charged for the class. This charge will be added to your student account, just like tuition.
How do I access my textbook with Inclusive Access?
If your class is using Inclusive Access, you will receive an email on the first day of the term with information on how to access your course materials. The email will be sent to your student email account.
Can I opt out of Inclusive Access for a refund?
Yes, you can opt out of Inclusive Access and receive a refund. The email that you receive on the first day of the term should include instructions on how to opt out. You must opt out before the end of the add/drop period to receive a refund. The add/drop period ends on the date listed as the "last day to drop a class with a refund" on the Important Dates chart.
Once requested, your student account will be updated to reflect the Inclusive Access refund.
