CCC Library offers access to many required textbooks, recommended textbooks, workbooks, and other course materials through our Course Reserves collection. This collection is located on the Oregon City Campus, at the Circulation Services desk.
Check if CCC Library has a print copy of your textbook(s) by using the Course Reserves search box below. Come to CCC Library to check out the book for in-library use.
Please note: the Course Reserves collection cannot loan out access codes for online content. The only way to access content that requires an access code is by purchasing the access code from the bookstore. If you need help paying for access codes or other textbooks, apply for an ASG Textbook Grant!
Not finding your textbook in Course Reserves? Email email@example.com.
CCC faculty members are expected to "place one copy of all required and recommended texts on reserve in the library or the department office, consistent with Clackamas Community College copyright policies" (ISP170P). If your course texts are not on Course Reserve, ask your instructors to make them available in CCC Library.
Associated Student Government (ASG) offers Textbook Grant Money! (And other grants to help you pay for stuff!)
Other textbook options are listed below.
All students with an accepted financial aid offer can order books through the bookstore and charge them against future aid for the term. Bookstore charging opens the week prior to the start of the term, and closes on Sunday of the second week (last day to add/drop). The initial limit is $500, but can be increased on a case-by-case basis.
Contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org or 503-594-6082
What is Inclusive Access?
Some CCC classes may use an "Inclusive Access" textbook model. This means that your instructor has chosen to add the cost of your course materials (like your textbook) to the amount you are charged for the class. This charge will be added to your student account, just like tuition.
How do I access my textbook with Inclusive Access?
If your class is using Inclusive Access, you will receive an email on the first day of the term with information on how to access your course materials. The email will be sent to your student email account.
Can I opt out of Inclusive Access for a refund?
Yes, you can opt out of Inclusive Access and receive a refund. The email that you receive on the first day of the term should include instructions on how to opt out. You must opt out before the end of the add/drop period to receive a refund. The add/drop period ends on the date listed as the "last day to drop a class with a refund" on the Important Dates chart.
Once requested, your student account will be updated to reflect the Inclusive Access refund.
