All Learning Network resources are free, including everything linked to in the New York Times, as long as they are accessed from the Learning Network site. Even better, you have free access to the entire New York Times through CCC Library, so we encourage you to sign up for unfettered access!
To access additional New York Times content in addition to that shared by The Learning Network, first register for an NYT account.
- Go to the New York Times using CCC Library's access link.
- Select Create Account and complete the registration fields. Sign up with your CCC email address.
- You will receive a confirmation email.
- Follow the provided link to verify your email.
- If you do not receive an email, using your CCC email account, send an email to edu@nytimes.com with the subject line “Academic Pass - no verification email”. They will resend the email to you.
- Once registered, you may access NYTimes.com and NYT mobile apps from any location on any web-enabled device. (Registration may take a few minutes to process. If you can’t sign in, wait a few minutes and try again.)
- Navigate to The Learning Network.
