Tutorials A-Z

A comprehensive list of critical thinking and information literacy-related instructional material created by CCC Library. Link to and embed this content in your classes.

Why use CCC Library tutorials?

SP25 note: this guide is getting a refresh. Expected completion SU25.

Strengthen students' critical thinking and information literacy skills by incorporating CCC Library instructional material into your courses.

Content aligns with CCC Library's information literacy Student Learning Outcomes and is organized into these themes:

Faculty support

This A-Z list is intended to support faculty teaching critical thinking and information literacy skills to students by helping you:

  • Identify tutorials that meet your course or assignment-specific student learning outcomes (SLOs)
  • Connect students with relevant content at the appropriate point of need
  • Choose the tutorial format(s) that most aligns with your students' needs and your teaching methodologies
  • Provide equitable research skills support

CCC Library also offers a student-facing Research help guide, linked from our homepage.

Student learning outcomes (SLOs) are included for YouTube Videos and Interactive Tutorials.

Find tutorial SLOs by selecting a tutorial format using the tabs above each title list. Look for content under Outcomes. If available, details about accessibility and expected completion time are included as well.

Content on research-related topics is available in multiple formats: YouTube videos, interactive tutorials, online research and course guides, and printable handouts and worksheets.

Title lists are available on each topic page. Check available formats using the Icon Legend available on each page.

We'll add a note here about how we're ensuring tutorials (created SP25 on) reflect current web accessibility standards.
